Here you'll find my complete collection of Gold Base protest videos I took at various times in 2008 and 2009 before my stay-away order in the Pansygate trial. The site has become the most important protest location in the anti-Scientology movement although protests are uncommon, at least in the hot summer months. I would also recommend a great series done by KESQ-TV reporter Nathan Baca who covered the cult fearlessly in 2008 and 2009. His videos had been posted by protesters and were very popular. Then KESQ TV took them all down. Apparently they don't realize that putting clips from their shows on YouTube is good publicity! And it's free! Now their own website has only text links about stories. They can't even host their own videos without Youtube.

TWO PROTESTERS ARRESTED AT GOLD BASE

Protesters Mark Lowell and Mark Bunker aka "Wise Beard Man" get arrested for no reason. The DA later dropped all charges. But the cult got great photos of them being arrested. The man running out of the guard shack at the beginning is Kevin Caetano. His wife is a major cult player in Hollywood. Yet they live 2 hours apart. Some marriage!

The Angry Gay Pope was innocently photographing a nearby slave housing compound. Suddenly he heard a high pitched, effeminate squeaking. It was Danny Dunigan - Cult Cop! They say he is hetero but I don't hear it in his voice. He has screwed up so many times that Scientologists took to calling him "Danny Dunitagain!" For example, he accidentally burned his dog to death.

Scientology's inner sanctum, Golden Era Productions (Gold Base) in Hemet CA was the site of a bizarre raid. The cult had erected a half mile long row of polyphonic surround sound speakers on both sides of the highway! They did this during several protests and, although annoying, it was very exciting. It made the whole atmosphere much better. Without it the place is just a country road.
